Dr. Gregory M. Jungman

Dr. Gregory M. Jungman D.D.S was born in Minnesota where his mother was from and also has roots in Iowa where his father was raised. He grew up in San Diego from age 5 through college, where he attended San Diego State University. Dr. Jungman was married 29 years to Kathie, with children Chris, Mike and Tim. Chris and Mike live in Boulder and Tim lives in Denver. Dr. Jungman received his bachelor’s degree in Biology- Pre-dental, and for Dental School he attended the University of Iowa. After completion he and his wife Kathie returned to San Diego in 1974.

Dr. Jungman spent two years in the Navy, holding the chairman position of Oral Diagnosis and Preventative Dentistry at the Naval Regional Medical Center in San Diego. In 1976 Dr. Jungman and his family moved here to Summit County, Colorado where he started his practice in Dillon that year. In the fall of 1995 he began working to open Breckenridge Family Dental, joined by Dr. Robert C. Meister. The new office, located in the City Market shopping center opened in the fall of 2000. Dr. Jungman also headed the design and opening of the Kremmling office in 1999. Besides dentistry, Dr. Jungman’s primary interests include hunting and fishing, scouting, and his children’s activities. He teaches Hunter Education, has spent 12+ years as Scoutmaster and is on the Division of Wildlife committee.

Dr. Stephanie Barnett

Dr. Barnett was born and raised in the small town of Skiatook, Oklahoma. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Tulsa where she graduated Cum Laude with a B.S. Degree in Biological Sciences. She then obtained her dental degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. She has always had a passion for helping people. During dental school, she not only volunteered for Give Kids A Smile Day, but she also went on mission trips overseas helping the underserved and donating free dental care. After dental school, she completed a two-year hospital based program through the Indian Health Service in Tuba City, Arizona, helping her fellow Native Americans. There she worked with and received mentorship from staff endodontists, pediatric dentists, oral surgeons and a prosthodontist.

Upon completion, Dr. Barnett moved to Summit County, Colorado which was her lifelong dream. She continued her mission of helping people by working for the Summit Community Care Clinic, eventually becoming the Chief Dental Officer. While working at the Summit Community Care Clinic, Dr. Barnett was accepted through the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine as a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Community Dentistry and Population Health.

In February 2017, she made the move to Dillon Family Dental. She enjoys helping people maintain good oral health which also plays a role in overall health. She prides herself in offering gentle dentistry and will do whatever she can to make your dental visit a pleasant experience.

She has been a member of the American Dental Association, as well as the Colorado Dental Association and Spear Education. She has taken courses and is certified for clear aligner therapy such as Invisalign and Clear Correct. She offers the latest technology with digital scanning and same-day crowns. Her favorite part about dentistry is building a rapport with her patients and improving smiles through cosmetic dentistry.

In her downtime, she enjoys skiing, hiking, paddle boarding and scuba diving (in the Caribbean) with her fiancé, Paul. She travels back to Oklahoma a couple of times a year to visit her family including her niece and nephews and to spend time wakeboarding.

Dr. Richard McLain

Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon

Richard McLain was born in Iowa. He attended the University of Iowa for his undergraduate education as well as dental school. Dr. McLain graduated from dental school in 1996. He then completed a one year surgical internship at the University of Nebraska. After internship, Dr. McLain practiced as a general dentist for two years in Denver, Littleton and Castle Rock. Dr. McLain entered the Oral & Maxillofacial Residency Program at Denver Health Medical Center in 1999. He completed this 4 year program in 2003. After this residency, he completed a Cleft Lip and Palate Craniofacial Fellowship at the children’s hospital in Cuernavaca, Mexico. He then entered private practice in the Denver Metro area. Dr. McLain is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. He is a member of the American Board of Oral Maxillofacial Surgery, American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and Colorado Society of Oral Maxillofacial Surgeons. He also volunteers his time with the Rose Medical Center Cleft Palate and Craniofacial Center. In his free time, Dr. McLain enjoys spending time in the mountains, brewing beer and attempting to complete home improvement projects in a timely manner.
